School rules
Read the contents of this school day book carefully and abide by the rules laid down by the school authorities.
Sending gifts to the teachers is strictly prohibited.
No child will be allowed to leave the school premises before the school is over unless the Principal or any competent authority in her absence has granted the permission. Parents are requested not to make any social engagements or medical appointments during working hours.
To get the best from school for your child, you are advised to maintain close contact with the school. We earnestly recommend parents and guardians to look into their their school day book everyday and ensure the work being done.
Parents are required to inform the school if there is any change in the address/telephone numbers.
Our school is a poly bag free zone. Parents are requested not to send or bring any items like lunch packs, stationary craft articles, etc. to school in poly bags.
The students should be encouraged to cultivate a habit of cleanliness and should be taught to maintain personal hygiene such as having clean ears, clipped nails and trimmed hair.
It is appreciable to lodge bus related complaints at the school desk rather than at the stoppages. A written complain to the bus coordinator will help us sort out the problems effectively.
Any abusive language used by the students/parents/guardian in school premises or in the school bus shall be seriously dealt with.
Students traveling for the purpose of educational tours/excursions/workshops/sporting events/competitions held outside the school must necessarily have to bear all the expenses incurred as part of travel charges. However, registration, food and lodging of the students shall be taken care of by the school.
Parents/guardians are advised not to be involved in physical or mental abuse of any fellow classmate/friend of their ward for any reason whatsoever. However, complaint may be lodged with the competent authority to resolve the matter.
The school strongly believes that there is no second chance for a student who cheats. Students found using unfair means during exam, will be given zero in that subject. No retest will will be held. Students found using unfair means will not be considered for any Scholar badge or award.
If mutilated or lost, a new set of identity card will have to be purchased by the parents by giving an application on the prescribed form available at the administrative office along with the replacement fee. They must also ensure that the mutilated cards are immediately surrendered along with the application form.
Students should affix their photographs and write their information duly signed by their parents in the space provided in the school day book.
Each student should bring his/her school day book every day.
No slogan writing or scribbling is permitted on the school uniform.
Students are expected to respect all school property. No student should damage any school furniture, write or draw anything on the wall or in anyway, damage things belonging to others. Damage done by accident should be reported at once to the class teacher or to the Principal. Any damage done will be made good by the one who causes it. No shouting or whistling is allowed in the school premises.
The school is not responsible for the goods lost. It is advisable not to bring valuables to the school.
Students are not allowed to carry mobile phones or any other electronic gadgets to the school campus.
Students who commute under the care of escorts should never leave the school before the escort arrives. In case of delay, they should inform the school office.
It is compulsory for the students to have minimum 80% attendance.
All students returning after suffering from an infectious or contagious disease should produce a doctor’s certificate permitting him/her to join the school.
Students suffering from the following diseases must observe the prescribed period of quarantine before returning to class:
Chicken pox
Till complete falling of the scabs
Cholera
Till the child has completely recovered.
Measles
Two weeks after the rash disappears
Mumps
Till the swelling has completely gone
Whooping coughs
Six weeks
Jaundice
Six weeks
Student absent must submit leave application duly signed by the parent/guardian. Failing this, the student shall not be allowed to attend the school.
Students who has been sick for more than five days will bring a medical certificate from their doctor on re-joining school. A copy of the certificate must be submitted duly signed by the doctor.
All students will attend school on the opening day after each vacation. Repeated absence or unexplained absence for more than six consecutive days and more than 3 days immediately after a vacation renders the student liable to have his/her name struck off from the rolls without notice. Re-admission may be granted only on fresh payment of the admission fee.
All the students must wear school uniform on school days whenever and wherever representing the school.
Identity card with photograph of the student must be worn on every working day and for all school functions.
Students of classes I and above are to wear their House T-Shirts and sports shoes during sporting events and games periods.
Students necessarily have to wear specified black shoes properly cleaned and polished on all functions and formal occasions.
Any sporting gear like Track pant, House T-Shirt, Track Jacket etc. is to be worn only on sports and activity days.
Students not wearing uniform as specified above shall be debarred from attending classes. Repetition of the same, renders the students liable to have his/her name struck off the rolls. Re-admission may be granted on specific assurance from the parent and subject to payment of fresh admission fees.
Misbehaving with teachers and classmates, vandalism, substance abuse, bunking classes, use of abusive language will lead to suspension from school.
Bringing cameras, cell phones, cosmetics, soft drinks, and energy drinks etc will lead to their confiscation.
On causing damage to damage to school property/peer property, a fine will be imposed as deemed fit.
Students with tattoos, hairs with spikes, middle parting, straightening and colouring will be debarred from attending classes.
Students wearing improper uniform, skirt length and hair length will not be allowed to attend school.
One clear calendar month’s notice in writing or a month’s fee in lieu of notice must be given before the pupil is withdrawn from the school. Transfer certificate is not issued until all dues of the school are cleared.
A student can be asked to leave the school on the following grounds:
Indiscipline
Unsatisfactory progress in work
Detention in a class for the second year.
